Dr Ajdinovich is a general orthopaedic surgeon with a keen interest in advanced arthroscopic treatment for ailments of the shoulder, knee, hip, and ankle. Such interests include, but are not limited to, shoulder instability, rotator cuff, labral repair, various methods of ACL reconstruction, and femoro-acetabular impingement.
His interests also include open surgical treatment modalities of the shoulder for instability as well as degenerative joint disease.
Dr. Ajdinovich encourages active participation of his patients in their own medical care and understands the importance of incorporating multiple treatment modalities, depending on the needs of each individual patient.
Dr. Ajdinovich earned his undergraduate degree in Biology from Purdue University in West Lafayette, Indiana. His training continued with a medical degree conferred by the Indiana University School of Medicine in Indianapolis, Indiana. He then completed a General Surgery Internship at Pennsylvania State University Hospital in Hershey, Pennsylvania, where he developed his basic surgical skills before his Orthopaedic Surgery residency at Kingsbrook Jewish Medical Center in Brooklyn, New York. He completed his residency training as chief resident at New York Presbyterian Lower Manhattan Hospital.
