Kevin D. Plancher’s, MD, MPH, FAOA, FAAOS traveled to Berlin, Germany last week to attend the International Cartilage Regeneration & Joint Preservation Society’s 16th World Congress, April 12–15, 2022. While in attendance as a faculty member, Dr. Plancher represented his team by presenting their research from “Repairing Lateral Meniscus Tears With ACL Reconstruction Ensures Low Rate of Symptomatic OA Compared to Meniscectomy at 11-Year Follow Up” The purpose of this study was to determine the incidence of osteoarthritis following lateral meniscus repair versus partial lateral meniscectomy in patients with ACLR.
